Remember my awesome clients based in Arlington that I started working with back in October and who wanted to give life to their brand new master bedroom? Well, we have finished the first phase of the design and are onto the next! After diving in and designing mood boards, suggesting wallpaper samples, picking out complimentary paint colors and discussing the overall feel they wanted for the room, we have a finished product! Within the last month, wallpaper was up, paint was dry and new hardwood floor was installed! (Please forgive the photo quality)
The wallpapered accent wall turned out beautiful! And I couldn’t be happier with the paint choice for the rest of the master suite. The moody combination of the two really brought such a large space inward.
Our next phase involves finding a chaise lounge chair to fill up this corner space of the room:
We’re looking for a chair with great bone structure and one that comes in luxurious fabrics, like crushed velvet. Luckily my clients aren’t opposed to finding a great shaped chair they love and reupholstering it with fabric of our choice. This flexibility allows us to really create the look we’re going for in the room and guarantees they won’t have to sacrifice on quality or design!
We’re also on the hunt for a fantastic area rug, new side-table lamps, an arc lamp for over the chaise lounge and shelving for a blank wall not shown in the above photo. This room will be complete soon and I can’t wait to share the final look! Stay tuned!
